RJ Peristere

RJ Peristere is a fifth-generation Angeleno who graduated from Loyola High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in both economics and international studies from the University of Miami. RJ worked in corporate finance and accounting at the Elon Musk white-paper startup, Hyperloop One, before joining his family’s business, Zoic Studios, where he led new business development. While he enjoyed the entertainment industry, his passion remained anchored in financial markets, leading him to pursue a career in financial advisory and investment management.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?

A: Oftentimes, people feel their dreams are out of reach. Our goal at McIntosh Capital is to give clients the concrete tools and roadmap to achieve them—whether that means buying a home in Los Angeles or a vacation property in Santa Ynez. What I enjoy most about my work is the satisfaction of seeing clients reach those milestones and knowing we played a part in making them happen.

Q: Describe your ideal client.

A: My ideal client is someone with ambitious goals who isn't entirely sure how to execute them. They are open-minded to a variety of strategies to get there and trust that we have their best interests at heart. Above all, they know that during market downturns, we're thinking about their portfolio even more than our own and we've prepared for these moments.

On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me…

Sunday mornings are best spent with family. I have a young son, Loni, and another boy on the way. Our routine usually involves lounging in bed a little too long (the one time we let our 135-pound Ridgeback, Maverick, join us), grinding fresh beans for the moka pot, and going for a long walk before Mass. Outside of work and family time, I’m an avid cyclist and surfer who loves taking advantage of the outdoors and everything Los Angeles has to offer.
